About the role

The AI team at Agile Robots is seeking a dedicated Senior Robotics Engineer with a predictive maintenance background. You are expected to have at least 5 years of experience in the field, demonstrating proficiency in using different machine learning techniques to detect anomalies, experience in failure diagnosis and integration of such modules in existing systems. This position is focused on predictive maintenance for a production line. So prior hands-on experience in this area would be a significant plus.

Your Responsibilities

• Development of key modules of a predictive maintenance system
• Implementation of the predictive maintenance system on real production line scenarios
• Work closely with the Robotics team to design and implement AI-based solutions
• Collaborate with other team members to evaluate and improve existing systems/pipelines
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, DL, and robotics
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
• Travelling frequently to our deployment sites, primarily China (up to 40% of the time depending on the stage of the project), to collaborate with on-site engineers in deploying and evaluating our solutions and collecting feedback on their usage for collaborating.

Essential Skills

• Master's degree in computer science, Automation, Robotics, AI, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with PyTorch, or similar AI technologies
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communication in English

Beneficial Skills

• Experience with C#
• Familiarity with Conan package manager
• Hands on experience on high precision feature extraction
• Knowledge of ML/DL techniques for anomaly detection
• Experience with ML/DL libraries like Jax, PyTorch
• Published in eminent scientific publications in the areas of Robotics
• Strong verbal and written communication in Chinese (Mandarin)
