Als Senior Software Ingenieur (PLC) (m/w/d) sind Sie für die Konzeption, Entwicklung und Implementierung von Software-Steuerungssystemen verantwortlich, insbesondere im Kontext industrieller Automatisierungsprojekte. Diese Projekte inkludieren eine regelmäßige Reisetätigkeit von min. 75% zur BÄR Automation GmbH nach Gemmingen, in der Nähe von Heilbronn. (Die Agile Robots SE ist seit 2023 Mehrheitsgesellschafter der BÄR Automation GmbH.)

Ihre Aufgaben

Programmierung und Konfiguration von SPS und HMI: Sie entwickeln und implementieren Steuerungslogik für automatisierte Prozesse unter Verwendung von SPS-Programmiersprachen (z. B. laddered logic oder structured text). Sie konfigurieren HMIs, um eine benutzerfreundliche Schnittstelle für Bediener und Wartungspersonal zu schaffen.
Fehlersuche und Problemlösung: Diagnose und Behebung von Problemen im Zusammenhang mit Automatisierungssystemen, einschließlich Hardware- und Softwarekomponenten. Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams, um Systemfehler umgehend zu erkennen und zu beheben.
Wartung und Upgrades: Regelmäßige Wartung und Aktualisierung von Automatisierungssystemen, um eine optimale Leistung zu gewährleisten.
Inbetriebnahme und Fehlersuche: Sie unterstützen die Inbetriebnahme und Prüfung elektrischer Systeme während der Installation und Inbetriebnahme. Sie beheben Sie elektrische Probleme, diagnostizieren Fehler und führen Abhilfemaßnahmen durch.
Kontinuierliche Verbesserung: Sie halten sich über die Fortschritte in der Automatisierungstechnik auf dem Laufenden und geben auf Basis von Branchentrends und bewährter Verfahren Input, was die Implementierung von Konstruktionsverbesserungen betrifft.

Ihr Profil

Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung mit SPS Programmiersprachen und HMI-Programmierung
Sie haben Erfahrung mit Hardware- und KI-Softwarelösungen für die Automatisierung
Sie sind vertraut mit 3D-Vision-Systemen
Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik, Informatik oder einer verwandten Fachrichtung
Reisebereitschaft im Umfang von 75 %
Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten sowohl im Deutschen als auch Englischen
Sie zeichnen sich durch eine selbstständige, gründliche und teamorientierte Arbeitseinstellung aus
Sie sind bringen Hands-On-Mentalität und Eigeninitiative mit

About the role

You will be part of the Industrial Automation Organization at Agile Robots SE (Germany). If you are passionate about robotics, have a knack for PLC programming, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we invite you to join our team and play a key role in driving the success of our robot solutions. As a Software Engineer (PLC) you are responsible for designing, development, and implementing software control systems specifically for industrial automation projects. In close collaboration with Sales, Production, and the Industrial Automation team you generate new value for our customers.

Your Responsibilities

Programming and Configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human Machine Interfaces): Develop and implement control logic for automated processes using PLC programming languages (such as ladder logic or structured text). Configure HMIs to provide a user-friendly interface for operators and maintenance personnel.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation systems, including both hardware and software components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any system faults promptly.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Regularly maintain and update automation systems to ensure optimal performance. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance existing systems.
Commissioning and Troubleshooting: Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems during installation and startup. Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about advancements in automation technology. Propose and implement design enhancements based on industry trends and best practices.

Your Profile

You are fluent in English and German
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in PLC (Siemens or Beckhoff) programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and HMI programming
Familiar with 3D Vision Systems
Previous experience in Hardware and AI-software solutions for automation
Independent, thorough, and team-oriented describes your attitude toward work
You are enthusiastic, a good communicator, highly motivated, and supportive
Available for travel up to 75%
