Senior Recruiter (m/f/d)

About the role
In this dynamic and multifaceted position, you will take ownership of the full-cycle in-house recruiting process, working across a wide variety of roles — from technical specialists to senior leadership positions. You will partner closely with hiring managers to design, implement, and continuously improve scalable recruiting processes, ensuring an excellent candidate and stakeholder experience.

As part of a growing organization, you will play a key role in shaping the foundation of our talent acquisition function — including setting up an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and establishing best practices that enable efficient and high-quality hiring. Our team primarily collaborates on-site at our Munich office to ensure close communication and fast decision-making.
Your Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for a diverse range, from job intake to assisting with final contract negotiations.
  • Design and implement core recruiting processes, tools, and frameworks to support scalable growth.
  • Lead the setup and optimization of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver a smooth, effective, and efficient recruitment process.
  • Act as an integral stakeholder throughout the selection and interview process.
  • Provide a personalized candidate experience through direct, transparent, and engaging communication.
  • Select the most effective recruiting channels for each vacancy, including active sourcing and coordination with external staffing agencies for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Contribute your insights and expertise to ongoing process improvements and special Employer Branding initiatives (career fairs, university marketing, candidate events, social media, etc.).
Essential Skills
  • Proven ability to build and optimize recruiting processes and tools from the ground up.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting for technical and business roles.
Beneficial Skills
  • Experience with ATS setup, configuration, or migration projects.
  • Knowledge of modern sourcing tools, talent analytics, and employer branding techniques.
  • Familiarity with the German labor market and relevant recruitment legislation.
Your Profile
  • At least 5 years of in-house recruiting experience for complex roles — ideally within IT and engineering disciplines.
  • Background in a dynamic, international environment such as a start-up or scale-up.
  • Completed university degree in business, social sciences, humanities, or comparable vocational training (e.g., HR management qualification).
  • Confident use of Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Business-fluent English required, German is an advantage
  • High level of drive, resilience, and continuous learning mindset suited to a rapidly growing scale-up environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, hands-on approach, flexibility, and positive team spirit.
  • Availability to work primarily on-site at our Munich headquarters
