Develop and maintain electrical documentation, including circuit, wiring, terminal diagrams, and cable plans using EPLAN P8, as well as related article databases in SAP, Aras, and MyFactory
Evaluate, select, and integrate electrical components (sensors, actuators, controllers), and prepare and maintain E-BOMs and production-related bills of materials
Collaborate closely with PLC programmers, automation engineers, and external partners to ensure seamless system integration and interface alignment
Implement and document safety concepts and standards, including IEC, CE, ATEX, and SIL requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance
Design control cabinets and cable harnesses, including routing and planning using EPLAN Harness ProD and Harness Library, and coordinate technically with cabinet manufacturers and suppliers
Support commissioning, installation, and troubleshooting activities, including on-site testing, fault analysis, optimization, and the use of Python, C++, and Linux for engineering tasks where required
Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in electrical design and documentation, ideally within industrial automation or machinery environments.
Strong hands-on experience with EPLAN P8; experience with EPLAN Harness ProD is an advantage.
Solid knowledge of international electrical and safety standards (IEC, CE), with exposure to ATEX and SIL requirements preferred.
Experience with BOM management and working with ERP/PLM systems such as SAP, Aras, or similar tools.
Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international teams, including PLC and automation specialists.
Practical experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site support.
Working knowledge of Python and/or C++ and familiarity with Linux-based systems is a plus.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured, solution-oriented working style.
Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
