About the role
We are implementing Workday as our core HR system in Germany, with a clear ambition to scale the solution globally in the future. To support this transformation, we are looking for a working student who want hands-on exposure to a real HR technology and change initiative. Not just observation, but execution.
You will work directly with the Workday implementation lead and functional stream leads and contribute to system testing, change and communication activities, and end-user support materials.
Your Responsibilities
You will support the implementation mainly across four areas:
Workday system testing (approx. 30%)
- Execute and adapt standard test cases to company-specific requirements
- Document test results, defects, and re-tests with high accuracy
- Support User Acceptance Testing across Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Time & Absence, and Performance
Change & communication support (approx. 20%)
- Co-create internal communication drafts (emails, intranet content, announcements)
- Support change activities on a transactional level with HR stakeholders
- Think beyond “what was asked” and flag improvement opportunities
Documentation & help content (approx. 25%)
- Draft FAQs, how-to guides, and end-user support articles in English
- Structure content so it can be easily refined and scaled
General project support (approx. 25%)
- Coordination, preparation, and structured follow-up on implementation topics
- Support data preparation and basic analysis where required
