About the role

As Team Lead – Office & Facility Management, you will take operational responsibility for Agile Robots’ workplace and facility operations across our locations in India. Based in Bangalore, you will oversee our Bangalore sites and travel to our Chennai factory at least once a month.

With Agile Robots’ strong and continued growth in India, you will play a key role in establishing consistent, international standards across our locations. You will ensure that our workplaces are safe, functional, well-maintained and provide a high-quality experience for employees and visitors.

You will work closely with local teams, external service providers and the Real Estate Team based in Germany to ensure consistent standards and support the further expansion of Agile Robots in India.

Your Responsibilities

Office & Facility Management
  • Take operational responsibility for Office and Facility Management across our Bangalore and Chennai locations.
  • Regularly visit our sites to monitor quality, identify issues and ensure standards are maintained.
  • Establish and implement international standards and processes for workplace and facility operations.
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, cleaning, security, reception, safety and other facility services.
  • Support office moves, expansions, construction projects and new locations.
 
Team & Vendor Management
  • Coordinate and manage local teams and external service providers.
  • Assess the need for additional resources such as Site Coordinators, Front Desk, Security, Cleaning and Facility Management.
  • Establish clear responsibilities, service levels and quality expectations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and support contract and cost management.
  • Act as the main point of escalation for operational workplace and facility issues.
 
Real Estate & Growth
  • Work closely with the Real Estate Team in Germany on local projects, site requirements and the implementation of global standards.
  • Support the opening, expansion and development of locations as Agile Robots continues to grow in India.
  • Provide local expertise and ensure that Real Estate decisions are translated into effective on-site operations.

Your Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in Office Management, Facility Management, Workplace Management or a related field.
  • Experience managing facilities across multiple locations.
  • Experience in an international or multinational company.
  • Strong experience in vendor management, service quality and cost control.
  • Experience establishing processes, standards and operational guidelines.
  • Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify problems and drive them to resolution.
  • Fluent English; additional local languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Bangalore and to Chennai at least once a month.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, international technology environment.
